Optima McDowell Mountain is Optima’s most sustainable project to date, designed and constructed to showcase the kind of sophisticated architectural detail that characterizes Optima’s Arizona projects: Optima Biltmore Towers, Optima Camelview Village, Optima Sonoran Village, and Optima Kierland.
This secluded 22-acre community, surrounded by Scottsdale Road and Loop 101 Freeway on the south side of the McDowell Mountains, will be comprised of six concrete-framed eight-story buildings featuring 1,330 luxury residences. Each building will have a rooftop deck featuring a 50-meter Olympic-length pool and outdoor theater, as well as fire pits and lush landscaping in Optima Kierland Condos.
The project will feature stepped and undulating landscaped facades that echo the shapes of the McDowell Mountains. Elevations are designed to create depth, shadow and texture that enliven the facades of each tower. Every outdoor terrace is edged with trailing native plants cascading down the building, and the colors of the desert will be incorporated throughout with bronze glass, railings and planters.
Residents will also be able to enjoy amenities that include a residents’ club, dog park, gym and business center in the lobby levels of each building. And the Optima Connect program will give residents exclusive discounts to area restaurants and retailers.
Located in the fast-growing north Scottsdale submarket, Optima McDowell Mountain will be an ideal home for residents who work nearby at the numerous high-profile companies that have recently moved to the area or those looking for a move-up home. It will be a short drive to the Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland Commons, as well as several shopping, dining and entertainment destinations in the surrounding area.
